OpenRights exists to help the entertainment industry modernise the way rights and catalog data are managed. The tools, contracts, and workflows that got the industry here don't scale to today's delivery landscape — dozens of platforms, fragmented territories, faster windows, and growing audit exposure. We publish practical resources to close that gap:

Everything on OpenRights is completely free — templates, tutorials, reviews, and the help sessions. No paywalls, no gated downloads, no sales calls. The goal is to raise the baseline for the whole industry, not to run a funnel.

Our reviews are unbiased. We don't take sponsorships from the vendors we cover, and we publish real limitations alongside real strengths. If a tool isn't right for your situation we'll say so — including "you don't need a tool yet, keep using spreadsheets."
